Kristin Fisher joined CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent team on July 20, 2021. In her new position, Fisher is in charge of covering all things including NASA's recently-created Space Force to commercial space businesses and the advent space tourism. Being the daughter of two NASA astronauts Kristin grew up in the field of space and has worked for the past five years reporting on the Biden and Trump Space Policy of the Administration as an White House Correspondent for FOX News. In that time she covered the presidential 2020 campaign, two impeachment trials, two efforts to stop the pandemic coronavirus, as well as two different administrations' efforts. The reporter also traveled extensively with the president and vice president and was a part of a classified visit to Afghanistan along with the then-President Donald Trump.
